I think it is something peculiar about the actual disc that you have, not this title in general. Again, it copied fine for me with DVDFab+ImgBurn and is a pretty old and scratchy original. Have you played the backup you made with DVDShrink to see if anything is missing?
The copy I made with DVD Shrink 3.2 works perfectly, all the way through. Still, I agree that it's very possible that my particular scratchy original can be read by DVD Shrink 3.2 but not DVDFab or ImgBurn. I will try GregiBoy's suggestion of ripping in Full Disk DVD9.
Here are the results of the Full Disk rip DVD9 with PP disabled. Again, dvdfab_process.log never got updated, possibly because nothing got burned, but then GregiBoy didn't say to burn the result.

I can't speak for him, but I suspect GregiBoy wants to know:
What is the actual file size on the hdd?
Does the movie play ok when viewed from the hdd with a software player such as VLC? ...all titles intact? navigation intact?
Translation: did Fab process the disc properly when not compressed?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and... blow. | Lauren Bacall | "To Have and Have Not" (1944).
This is a correct uncompressed DL-sized folder for this movie and it looks normal. If compressed to DVD-5 size, File VTS_04_1.VOB for instance should be 782,358KB (not 1GB as yours is) and there should be no VTS_04_2.VOB file at all. The main movie should be contained in VTS_03_1, 2, and 3.VOB (1GB each) and VTS_03_4.VOB (527,516KB) when compressed. As a side note, this movie doesn't look very good compressed to this level (68-69% as recall).
All I know is that the copy I burned from DVD Shrink 3.2 plays flawlessly, and displays with excellent quality. So, it appears that I probably need both DVD Shrink and DVDFab to copy all the DVDs that I need.
