will not burn DVD-> DVD

I have DVDfab 7.0.8.2 it worked allright to begin with but now it will not burn DVD in the DVD to DVD section, it states 'fail to write dvd'

Other programs burn correctly. I have a HP 2150 laptop with W7 64 bit.

What's going on?

Are you using the FREE version? It may have run out of the trial period.

Your screen shot shows you are using V7070 not V7082 as stated.

Either way you are out of date as the current version is 7090.

did some research on the forum; changed to imgburn and it seams problem is solved for the moment.

I have the unlimited licensed version, but will do an update to make sure I have the latest version.

Two facts of life.....

1 - staying updated to current versions.

2 - using imgburn as the burn engine.

Doing the above has cured a lot of problems for many people.

It is an alternate burning engine (free) that you can install and then select to use from within DVDFab. You can read more about it here: www.imgburn.com . Many of us use it, especially for burning DL discs.
