    stuck on open DVD source

    here is is some of whut i get. the one that says dvd detected took 10 hours and dvdfab crashed.

    ive tried cleaning it, and pathplayer on and off. this is mt fourth disk attempt the first 3 worked fine.

      You have more patience than I do to wait 10 hours.

      Download VSO Inspector from the link below and run an error scan on the disc.

      Editing software, video burning, DVD, Bluray, WebM,... and video downloading from the internet. Custom your own videos menu!

        You let your drive sit there and read a DVD for ten hours? I would suggest not doing that unless at the end of one of those sessions you want your drive to be DOA. That kind of stuff really wears down a drive, so I've been told anyways.

          All the above posts are correct. Nothing should take 10 hours and your drive is now most probably needs the DMA resetting.

            my stupid dvd won't open either

            I let mine load overnight as i fell asleep waiting for the stupid thing to load, it trys to open the source and then just keeps scrolling as if it is going to open it.
            this is not the first time i have had problems with this stupid program and i am really starting to get fed up with the wasted hrs trying to use this piece of crap

              The crap is most likely your disc, or possibly a drive problem.

              This thread is for support, not rants. Post the logs and other informatioin necessary to help you, or better yet, start your own thread.
