The Last Song

Had to select "Main Movie " and then go down through the "Titles" and select Title Number 17...After a small pause it pops up an error message..i hit "Ignore All" and it went through the whole movie and i am watching it now to see if it worked..Anyone else do it a different way in case mine doesn't work?

What Region is your original disc and what version number of DVDFab are you using. Please choose the correct thread prefix next time so we will know.

Did anyone get it to burn. I have tried everything and nothing is working.

Are you using the FREE version or the registered version?

As this is a relatively new release, the copy protection on this disk may have not been implemented in the free version yet. There is a delay for copy protections to flow on to the free version.

Otherwise, it could be a faulty disk. Please have a read of Maineman's "Troubleshooting DVD's" post.

No i have a registered version..I have been using dvdfab for at least 3 or 4 years.i had this trouble about a year ago with Monster House and i just had to waite for the dvdfab to update before it would do the movie.It will read through the whole movie but it scrambles it.You start watching and suddenly it skips to the middle of the movie,plays that scene,then skips back to where it left off..does that through the whole movie.It also did this with Tinkerbell but i went through all the titles and found one that worked and thats how i got Tinkerbell to copy but so far i cant find a title in The Last Song that isn't scrambled.

It did it!..Finally.You said there was a delay if you didn't have the registered version but mine is registered.but i have tried that movie all day.i finally shut dvdfab down for about an hour and just tried it again and this time it read it.Thanks for everyone's help!

I do not have this movie yet, but I'm sure I will be getting it with a daughter in the house

You might want to try this if you are unsure of the right Title# being selected:

Put the movie in your DVD player and as the movie is playing take note of what Title# it is, when you open Fab and it analyzes the disc make sure it is the same Title# that was playing as before and chose that number. Choose your hard drive for you Target if it pops up an error message hit "Ignore All" let it process and you can preview it when done with VLC which you can get here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ and it is free.

I have seen Fab pick the wrong title before, not very often but it did.

Copied on the first try. I always use the movie only option and never have any problems. Playback was also perfect.
Region 1.

Check your copy very carefully. At just over 8 minutes into the movie, my backup has a few seconds missing that are in the original when it is played back. I have sent the Info files to Fengtao.

Well the version of this movie I picked up Yesterday is the Blu-ray+DVD combo pack but will give the DVD a try later tonight to see if I have any problems with this DVD version

It has very complex structure protection. I did not watch the whole movie, there may be other little chunks missing elsewhere. This was only about 3 or 4 seconds, where the two girls are sitting on the pier talking. The original disc causes PowerDVD10 to crash when you push the stop button.
