Re-d/led the installer for 7508 and it's crashing after opening a DVD, running win7 64x ultimate. The GUI is not showing correctly after opening with no DVD inserted. (attached pic)

Win XPPro Sp3, US, Imgburn
Getting same action if starting 7.5.0.8b and it is intially opening in Full Disc Mode. Window looks same as .jpg attached in first post.
If app opens to Full Disc Mode window and a source disc is either already inserted or inserted after the app opens, then app has abnormal end and opens the 'DVD Report -Info" window. If app opens to any other window and then the switch is made to Full Disc Mode, then all appears to be ok.
Tried several options, i.e. Pathplayer off, etc., with no change.
Reverting back to 7.5.0.6b solves the issue.

This is strange as I have just installed 7508 and tested this and I do not have this problem
Tested opening with no disc in tray, disc in tray, full disc, main movie all configurations same result everything is fine.
I also have 7506 installed along with 7508 and 7506 is working fine also.
I also ripped a new movie to hard drive with 7508 (using Vista)

I'm having same problem with the GUI for DVD to DVD when DVDFab starts but do not have the crash after the DVD opens. Will do some testing on a few DVDs to see if they rip and burn like before
EDIT: Just Tested and I'm getting the crash as well and it happens if I select DVD Main Movie or try to switch to DVD to Mobile. DVDFab as well crashes if you have DVD in drive first and then start DVDFab. Removing this Beta and installing the last oneLast edited by AGJ; 08-21-2010, 05:04 AM.

All who are seeing this, please fill out the crash report and send it. Someone also please post the logs if it is generating any before the crash. Try "low stress mode", disable auto preview start and read ahead cache in Common Settings, disable all CUDA/DXVA, set to all software.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ It crashes on me consistantly if disc is in drive and open Fab in full disc mode BUT if the disc isn't in and after opening Fab then clicking any other option and switching back to full disc mode, it not only corrects the gui bug but allows me to open and rip the same DVD. Also made sure I sent the report in after it popped up.
Just a little hiccup, no biggie (I hope)
