Commercial DVD's won't play, same movie copied on another machine plays fine

Trying to use DVDFab on a Windows 7 (64 bit) machine. Start program, insert disc, disc spins up (scanning), disc spins down, nothing shows in source window. Movie won't play in Media Player, VLC, etc.

DVDFab works just fine in my Windows XP machine....copy same movie, put copied disc in Windows 7 machine, plays fine.

I suspect it some DRM B.S. any ideas?

    Hi bballbill
Did you run the installer as administrator???
Instead of clicking run click save then open the folder and right click and install the program as administrator, you might also try right clicking DVD Fab icon on desktop and run as administrator.

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

What movie and if your computer not play original DVD then it not DVDFab problem but more a computer problem. You may want to download malwarebytes and run a scan for malware. Also could be bad DVD as they have a tendancy to not be seen by computer as well

See if windows explorer will open the disc and let you see the files in the VIDEO_TS folder.
