Successes and Problem DVD's using DVDFab 6.1.2.5

EDIT: !!!!! Please post any issues regarding NEW release DVD's that you think 6.1.2.5 is not decrypting properly !!!!!

OK folks I'm here to report that the PROBLEM BEAST "Transformers 2 - Revenge of the Fallen" is NO LONGER an issue for creating a "Full Disc" backup with DVDFab 6.1.2.5

    IMPORTANT:
Be sure to go back and review your PathPlayer setting (the Green Check, top right). Make sure it is set back to either "Always Enabled" or "Enable PathPlayer when necessary".

You want to select "Always Enabled" if you use any of the features in box that says "Navigation". I normally correct my own navigation with another tool so I use "Enable PathPlayer when necessary", either should work for this disc.

Then try "Full Disc" mode. I was very impressed with the latest results, here is a view of the files after it completed:

Volume in drive M is AX_MOVIE3
    Volume Serial Number is 3B51-D440

    Directory of M:\FullDisc\TRANSFORMERS2_D1_VANILLA\VIDEO_TS

I did however do a little further cleanup with PgcEdit (PGC Editor/Blanking only, non-decrypton tool) as I'm a stickler on my final backups. I have a portable player that is sometimes a real pain if there is too much program chain jumping. Plus I like to change the program "First Play" order so that the MPAA plays first (if available), then it jumps directly to the movie and then the Menus when the movie is over. Plus PgcEdit has a very nice feature to remove ALL uncalled PGC's.

PgcEdit is NOT needed for for you to get a Full Disc backup.

REMEMBER: Turn PathPlayer back ON !!!

    Cheers,

    FYI: Tinker Bell next

Where did you download it from? It should read "DVDFab 6.1.2.5 (27/10/2009)"

Download from the links in this forum.

Good NEWs on "Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure (R1)", I was able to successfully do a "Full Disc" on it as well. I'm currently checking the files with PgcEdit.

            IMPORTANT:
Be sure to go back and review your PathPlayer setting (the Green Check, top right). Make sure it is set back to "Enable PathPlayer when necessary".

Here what the files look like an I have on doubt I will get a working back up of Tinker Bell. I love these "Fast Play" Disney DVD's and I have room to work with in getting the whole thing on a SL (4.7g) disc.

Don't know but you are the only one not supplying any details.

my issue is different. I downloaded this version, installed it, rebooted, and when it tried to read TF2 disk, it gave me an error that says "to open the DVD disk buy or renew "dvd to dvd" wait for new version of dvdfab hd decrypter"

                      Is DVDFab no longer free?

Well it would be a good idea to help the GREAT developers of this tool by purchasing a license. They do spend quite a lot of hours developing DVDFab to work with these latest protections.

Let's say you need to have your car repaired, should it be free ?

I even donate to FREEWARE tools if I use them frequently, its only fair if you want to continue using them and so that the developers can continue making enhancements.

                          Do you agree ?

                          Regards,
