need help? Can burn on single layer.

I can't burn on single layer disc. everytime i try to burn it wants to burn on a double layer disc. i have always burned on single layer disc. is there something i need to change or is it the disc itself but its not a big file disc at all. r there anybody smart out there that can help? please help

change from double layer dvd back to single layer.

Yes i looked at the settings. But when i go in there, there is nothing there to change anything... sorry my thread suppoused to say Can't burn in single layer .. it keeps saying put in a double layer....any way to change it. do i need to go back and download any older ones meaning dvdfab 5 or 6 or 7.. can u help me fix the settings...

dvdfab will not burn my dvd on a single layer disc. it wants me to put in a double layer disc . i have always burned on a single layer disc. how can i fix this or is this the program because i have bought alot of disc that r single layers...please get back with me soon.

What does it show at the bottom of the DVDFab window, near the Quality% readout? You must set it here for DVD-5 size, and it should show you something like "6648MB->4300MB". Clone mode will not compress the content, it will always require the same size blank disc as the original DVD.

Thanks that was the problem ? it was set on dvd 9 and once i change it to dvd5 it burned prefect thanks alot
