Video Folder to *.iso Problem.

Hi,
I have a Video Folder incl. (VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS) on my Harddisk. It is ripped by DVDFab 6.1.2.5 (Full Movie). I would like convert this Folder to an ISO File.
When I change the option Full Disk the Process stopped by an Error Message:
Task_1 failed! Error=100
When I use the option Main Movie I have no Error.
But I need the Full Disk!
Whats the Problem?

Hi Ofen and welcome,

The simplest and quickest way to do this is:

Select Write Data
Select your Source and Target as shown below.
Be certain to select your Source as a folder and Target as .ISO
(.ISO is your only choice as Target in this mode).

Ok, this didn't work and neither did Full Disc mode.
Sorry, I should have tried it before I posted.


However, this will work
Do the same as above only choose Customize mode.
Here you're going to have to manually select every title that you want and select .ISO as the Target, but it works.

I'll investigate this when I have a chance...sure seems like a bug.
To complicate matters on my end, I just built a new rig with Win 7 and although I think I configured all the stuff correctly,
I don't have a clue what I'm doing yet......

If anyone can reproduce this, it'd be a big help.

I can't duplicate this at all. I made an ISO from a folder on an external HDD using both the default target choices and one using the browse button in the box. ??

Normally, I would say that tears it and it's a snafu in my configuration of Win 7, Fab or both.
Strange that it occurs with Write Data and Full Disc, but not with Customize?...

Yep. But XP SP3 still, here. This may be a PathPlayer thing. I always uncheck all the protection removal options in Settings and disable PathPlayer when I'm trying to copy anything unencrypted. Can't imagine why Write Data won't work for you though. Is there a "." before the "iso" in the filename in that capture you posted? Can't tell.

I have thought to disable PP in past with unencryted discs...forgot to try that here...thanks.

I'm at work right now so I can't say for certain about the "."
The dust is just settling from my return trip home, but maybe later tonight I can give it all a closer look.
