movie ripped to AVI cutting out befor end of playback
I am having the same problem. 1 in every 2 movies that I rip using DVDFab Ripper is stopping about 30 minutes from the end of the movie. I am converting to AVI using DVDFab Ripper. I have not cahnged any settings. I drag and drop the converted files to my external harddrive and play to the TV through WD Mini media player (connected to the external harddrive by USB). It have also used other software to copy to my computer's harddive and then rip that file to an AVI file using DVDFab Ripper and the same thing happens. Not all movies, like I said, every second one. What else can I do? Does the size of the movie have anything to do with it (I only rip the main movie). Can anyone help?

The size only matters if your drive/USB stick is FAT32 and the movie file is larger than 4GB. Unlikely unless you are using unusual settings for bitrate or resolution. I am moving this thread to the correct forum. Update to v8.0.5.9 Beta of DVDFab, try again, and post the log files of one of the ones that stops. You might also try playing it on your PC with VLC or some other reliable player and see if it cuts off that way.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ To luke95, are you able to see all file properties of the file?
See my thread here
maybe the 2 problems are related?

I've got one in the kids room to play about 600 different kids shows that I've converted, (you know, all their Dora, Mickey Mouse etc DVD's so they don't trash them!) and for $50 its ok if your just playing avi's.
But for your hi-def stuff the WDTV Live is much better

WD TV Live is good, I use it at home.DVDFab is the all-in-one software package for copying Blu-ray/DVD and converting video file.
