DVD Ripper Profiles - Ca05n't see where to select them

I can see various profiles in the Profiles directory, but I can't find how to actually select one of these. Specifically interested in the Archos 605 (have an Archos 70).

    So how is this done?
Running 8.x that just updated yesterday.

They are selected in the user interface. For instance to use the Archos 605 profile, select PVP (or "More->PVP") on the left hand navigation menu, then use the dropdown box at the bottom of the main window to select the profile you want for your player.

I had already done exactly that...but I figured it out. I NEEDED to have selected one of the detected video sections from the DVD *before* it un-grayed out the Profile selection dropdown menu. (That was the problem before...the Profile selection was grayed out)

Now....I had just finished ripping this one DVD using a generic profile that I setup....and it ran through w/ no problems.

Now, using the Archos 605 profile, it almost immediately has a problem and says Processed Failed.

Is there a log file somewhere to look at to see what's happening?

DVDFab creates two or three logfiles, depending on what is happening. They are all located in a folder called Log that can be one of several places depending on your operating system. You can just use windows search or find filles and folders to search for dvdfab_internal.log, the others (burn log and sometimes a process log) will be in the same place. You can attach them to a post. For the burn log, the most recent entries are at the top; for the other two the newest entries are at the end of the file. They can be read and edited with Notepad.

          Thanks. Found them.

Two of the logs indicate this failure code:
          Work 1 failed, Error = 502.12 7

The other log file simply has:
