BD Ripper (3D Plus) WMV Audio Lag

It was troubling to see the thread shut down from hans302 regarding audio lag. Signals stated “The forum is not really the place to air complaints about service” but this was a valid bug report of a major feature that has never worked properly.

This should be the place to discuss endemic problems. We have also been encouraged to post issues as we should not “Troubleshoot Technical Problems Through The Private Message System”. The forum rules also do not state anything about complaints or service.

WMV conversions have never worked reliably and they were reported years ago for DVD Ripping. I have spent many months troubleshooting and don’t bother any more and am resigned now that they either work or don’t.

AVI works better but it is not an option as WMV is the only format natively supported by Windows and a veriety of Media Center Extenders. Audio lag has easily affected 30% of the WMV conversions and this rate has not improved over time.

We had hoped the new Blu-Ray engine would solve this but were surprised to see that our old friend WMV audio lag is back again.

Please don’t close threads for valid topics as we have no idea what the known issues are, what the architects are working on, or when known issues will be fixed? We need some transparency so we don’t keep asking the same questions. This might be a good section for the forum.

The thread was closed because hans302 loaded that thread and others with 75+ post in a matter of hours . Some of them less than 3 minutes apart.
None of them except maybe the first one was of any value to anyone.

He then started posting under a second user name and was banned.

That is almost humorous .
The same question get asked hundreds of times a week because very few take the time to do any research.

There are many people here that will help but none of them can do anything about anyone's perception of lack of service by the staff in China.

If you want help then ask for it.
If you want to b!tch then do it somewhere else.
