I previously had a Toshiba Laptop with Blu Ray but an older version of DVD Fab which worked OK albeit very slow.
I changed my laptop to an ASUS N73S series OS Windows 7 64 bit, all formats of movies whether they are DVD or Blu Ray play perfectly fine using PowerDVD 9 trial version
I have downloaded the latest version of DVD Fab on my ASUS machine. Is it something to do with the register key? After installing or reinstalling the software and loading a Blu Ray movie for the first time, it asks to check for updates, if I turn the internet connection off, it won’t load the movie. It doesn’t do this for any other format, just Blu Ray
When I try to rip ANY Blu Ray discs to either AVI and MKV, the latest being Wild Target, each time the movie loads if I try and view the film in the preview pain, the programme will crash and ask me to send the report to DVD Fab, they have yet to reply. I've uninstalled, downloaded the current version (again), and cleaned the registry with CCleaner and still get the same fault. If I don't preview the move and rip it anyway, play back is distorted, the movie flashes as though graphic card is shot (NVDIA GEFORCE GT540M).
DVDs work fine
