DVD Ripper Bladerunner

Hi guys,

I have tried ripping my 5 disc special edition of bladerunner to my pc (putting the five films into avi files, however when i come to play them back i get to 20 mins from the finish & it just stops.
Has anyone got any ideas please

It sounds like the conversion missed all or part of the last VOB of the original. If you can look in the DVDFab internal log and find the entries for these conversions it would help. What version of DVDFab did you use to make the AVIs?

Could this also be something to do with the 2Gb-/2Gb+ profiles?

Im using version 8.0.9.2.

I will try again & if i have no luck i will post the logs

The odd thing is though that on media player it stated that it was 112 minutes but it actually stopped around the 95 min mark!!!

ok, just tried it again & this time it works, however on 2 of the versions there should be a narrative done by harrison ford which is missing, but when i play on the dvd player you can hear it

You may have to select the commentary audio stream manually on your player.

That would be weird as the commentary im talking about is part of the film soundtrack!!!

hi there, I ripped the original theatrical version from the same 5 disc set you have, I can tell you after several hours of swearing and general psychotic behaviour I realised that to get the original "voice over" or "narration" by Harrison Ford, you need to select track 2 from the list of audio tracks, it looks as though there are 2 for each track, each one has either 5.1 sound or straightforward 2 channel stereo.
