DVD Ripper No sound on iPhone 3GS

I have been using DVD Fab for a while now. I haven't had an issue until recently.

None of the movies that I have ripped with DVD Fab will play sound on my iPhone 3GS anymore. They all play fine in iTunes. Even the ones that used to play are no longer playing the sound.
Also when you try to fast forward thru the movie it stops playing all together.

I have a few movies that were ripped with a different software and they all play.

Please install mediainfo (free) http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en to analyze the output file, then post the analyzing result.

Also, please try: click on "edit" near the bottom of DVDFab screen > open "Conversion Settings" window > set the "channel" as "Stereo" in the "Audio Format:acc" box to convert again and see the result.

The bottom line is that these movies worked just a few weeks ago. Now they do not.

The most recent movie that I ripped was done in 2 channel and it seems to work fine now.

Our suggestion is DVDFab Video Converter, reconvert your ripped iPod file to the iPod format file with audio tracks in 2 channel, hope this helps.

I still haven't gotten an explanation as to why these files that used to work now do not. I really don't want to spend more money on an unnecessary program if I don't have to.

There may be no explanation other than what GregiBoy suggested. You have a 30-day free trial of Video Converter if you want to try Sunny's suggestion, although it may have a watermark while in trial mode, so check the output before you invest much time in the process. Ask apple if they have made any changes.
