DVD Ripper Unable to get subtitles

Hi guys,
I am having some issues getting the subtitles to show from a film I am trying to rip.
No matter what I do I cant seem to get them to display after I have ripped the film. I have ticked the 'Display only forced subpicture' but still nothing.
Does it have something to do with watching the film on Windows media Centre?

There may not be any true forced subs in the film. What is the title of the movie? You can use DVDSubEdit (free) to quickly scan the VOBs for forced subs. If you are selecting "Direct Render to video" from the dropdown on the Edit page, it does not matter what you use to play them, the subs would be there.

I don't have that one yet, sorry. Unless it has extensive dialog with a language that would be considered foreign in the Region of the disc release, it probably does not have forced subs. You can test it as I said with DVDSubEdit, an excellent free tool, or just try unchecking the Display only forced box and see if the regular subs will render correctly.
