DVDfab 8.1.1.2 Hard Crashes

Hello,

I am using DVDfab 8.1.1.2 to rip DVDs and I get 20-60% of the way through before my machine just powers off. Initially I thought it was a RAM problem, but RAM passes Memtest86 with 100% success.

Platform is Win7 Pro x64. Movie is Temple of Doom. AppleTV is the format I am ripping to. Any type of logging I can turn on see some more debug details? Any other place I can look for clues? This was working flawlessly till 2 weeks ago, now it crashes on every encode, no matter what the movie.

DVDfab 8.1.1.2 Hard Crashes

Sorry for the re-post, but this issue is not fixed.

System hard crashes (Not BSOD, just powers off, no error message) during ripping process. I am using the AppleTV profile sound reduced to Stereo 128k (which I thought fixed the issue).

Win7 Pro x64, 8600GTS, CUDA Enabled, 8gb RAM passed MemTest86 100%, No other programs running.

With CUDA enabled all bets are off! Set every A/V codec to software and disable all GPU processing and give it a whirl.

This sounds like an overtemp symptom. Move some more air.

If I set everything to Software, it still dies.

If I set everything to CUDA *ONLY* it completes, but the encoding is incorrect. It shows up as a 13+ hour long movie, and playing it doesn't work.

I'm monitoring the temp of the CPU and the GPU. It's elevated, but well within operating temperatures.
