    DVD Ripper Incomplete Rips

I'm having an issue getting the PVP rip to play back. Fab say process completed sucessfully. When you open the file everything is perfect except the last 10 minutes of every movie wont play. During playback everything is fine but with less that 10 minutes remaining media player puts up a warning message that says it cant play the file type. Rip set for archos 600. Thanks for any help

I've tried all the archos versions in 8.1.1.2 PVP under the ARCHOS names and still won't play the last 5 -10 minutes. Anybody have a clue what I'm doing wrong? Any help is appreciated

Post the DVDFab internal log file for one of these conversions. They will be near the end of the file. You can view/edit the logs with Notepad.

Have you tried playing the converted file back on your PC? I am not familiar with the Archos 600, does the file system on it support files of the
          size you are making?

I had the same problem when ripping my dvd collection. Support gave me a link to update to a beta version 8.1.1.6 and advised me to set the profile to generic.avi.xvid.audiocopy. The problem is solved and the program works like a charm.

I have always used the default rip for PVP option with no issues until recently. Just not sure why other than I have upgraded to 8.1.1.2 is the only change to my computer.

Yes I tried to play the completed rips on my computer and all is great till the last few minutes before the gredits and that's when it's stops playing and media player gives me the warning prompt saying "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file"

I will reset the options to generic.avi.xvid.audiocopy and try again. Thanks
