BD Ripper (3D Plus) Bluray ripper stalls at 0.05%

This is something new and not problem with a specific disc. Running Windows 7 with DVD Fab 8.1.1.2 Qt. I tried to rip my copy of X Men: First Class and Secretariat and both stalled after reporting 0.05%, and the BR drive doesn't even sound like it's spinning. I then tried to re-rip the last BR i did back in Janaury (True Romance) and it behaived the same way. So I thought I was a problem with my cheapo Plextor drive that's over a year old. I just got my new LG drive and connected it today but I'm having the same problem. I tried removing and re-installing DVDfab, but that didn't fix it either. I was able to rip a DVD 2 weeks ago with no issues. It appears to be BR thing.

Has anyone had this same issue and can please help? It would be greatly appreciated.

...one more thing to add. I just tried creating an ISO of True Romance from the BD and that worked fine. But when I tried to convert ISO it stalled again at 0.05%.

Also I forgot to say, I'm ripping these files in MP4 format to be played on a PS3. With no changes to the default PS3 profile settings.

      Hi Bizert,
Why not give a try for the lastest build 8120 QT?
      .
      Wish it helps.

Negative, problem still exists with 8.1.2.0.

If it helps here's the status of my licenses:
File Transfer, HD Decrypter, DVD Ripper & Blu-ray Ripper - Never Expire
DVD Copy & Blu-ray Copy - Expired (I only purchased these for 1 year around June 2010)
The rest - Never been used

Does the Blu-ray Copy license have to still be valid to rip Blu-ray discs? Because when it didn't sound that way when i read up on them both on your website before my purchases last year. So that is why i got the Blu-ripper for life time and copy only for a year. And if so why do DVDs still work? I did the same there, bought copy for a year and ripper for lifetime.

No, you can license BD Ripper or DVD Ripper standalone from the Copy modules, it should not be a problem. Not sure about why the DVD Copy still works unless it is in HD Decrypter (free) mode, which allows some functions but no compression and no burning.

Post the DVDFab internal log files from the failed conversions. DVDFab must be installed AND run from a user account with administrator permissions.

              Hi Bizert
Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.

THANKS!!! It looks like that fixed it. True Romance started to rip like normal and now trying the new Blurays.

So I'm curious how that happened. Because i don't recall ever change those settings?

                  Hi Bizert,
DVDFab will load the GPU acceleration while installing automatically. In some conversion, the GPU acceleration isn't stable. So if you get failure while converting, plese select "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding" in Common Settigns -> General -> A/V Codec page.
                  Wish it helps.

Ok sadly I have a couple of twists to this problem.
First with "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding" checked I a similar problem ripping The Dark Knight. It stalled just shy of 95% after 8+ hours (usually takes 6-7 hours on my PC to rip and convert). Here's the log:

Second, when trying to convert 300 from the single VOB file I had previously ripped (using Video Converter), to MP4 H.264 I never got past 1%. But I had no problems ripping and converting from the disc to MP4 H.264. Any ideas what's up with that? Here's that log:

Your DVDFab installation is out of date, there have been many fixes and improvements. Please update to V8.1.3.2 and try again. Please post new logs if it still does not work.

Some things I've noticed and questions. These problems started when I started using the 1920x1082 Frame Resolution. Previously I was using 1280x772.

So why is it that ripping 300 from the disc worked but not from the VOB? I just paid for lifetime Video Converter because I wanted to convert my VOB's to HD without having to pull out all the DVDs again. I hope that wasn't a waste of money.

Could this be something with my system? Specificially my GPU? I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64, AMD Athlon II X2 215 Processor 2.70 GHz, 3GB RAM. And the DVDFab output for Codec Information is:
                        Graphics Chipset :
                        NVIDIA GeForce 9200

                        CUDA Driver Version: 4.0
                        CUDA Capability revision number: 1.1

                        Supported Video Codecs :
                        CUDA_MODE_H264
                        CUDA_MODE_VC1
                        CUDA_MODE_MPEG2
                        DXVA_MODE_H264
                        DXVA_MODE_VC1
                        DXVA_MODE_MPEG2

                        CoreAVC : cannot be detected.

Just tried to convert 300.vob to MP4 (default profile for PS3) again using Video Converter. It got a little further, 1.86% but stalled out again. Some observations, when it first started the conversion process the Encoding FPS was around 25.00 but then immediately started to decrease. When I saw that no more progress was being made and cancelled it was at 8.53. Additionally, i was monitoring my Task Manager and DVDFab.exe and FabCore.exe were taking up a combined 100% of my processor. But when I checked before clicking cancel FabCore.exe was down to 00% while DVDFab was about 51%. The FabCore process seems to have stopped on it's own. Anyway the log is below. I'll try the Dark Knight rip again later.
