BD Ripper (3D Plus) Blu-ray Ripper stops after 19min work time

    Hi,

The Blu-ray Ripper (Version 8.1.3.2) stops the rip-process after approx. 19 min work time. I want to rip it to MKV. This error occurs with 3 different BR-discs

When it stops the info windows is showing the following:

DXVA GPU acceleration for video decoding enabeld
    source (00002.m2ts)

Who has experience in this workaround and can support me to fix the problem ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Best regards

    Hi Tiger.Wutz
Please try the latest version found here
or Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.

      Hi CBR929,

Thanks for your hints, but they doesn't work.

With the changed software settings it stops after approx. 19 min.
With the DVDFab 8.1.3.3 Qt Beta it stops after 22 min.

      That's confusing !

Try turning off the DXVA GPU...

All tries with different settings are not successful.

In the past I hadn't any problems with DVDFab programs.

Could it be possible that it depends on Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 ?
That was the only software which was updated from version 2011 to 2012 last time !

That's here so strange ... I couldn't imagine where the error belongs to.

            Hi Tiger.Wutz
I think I saw a post about Bit Defender, please see this post .
Did you try it with it turned off?
Please post a full Internal log so that the developers may review it also.

              Hi CBR929,

I will post the Log later this day.

I've checked the workaround with a VM and the following parts:
              W7 Home premium
              Bitdefender Internet Security 2010
              latest official FAB (no beta)

              aaaaand: Thats working !

So there must be something wrong with the used Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 which I'm using on my main system.

              BTW:
Is there a manual available which give detailed information about the settings i.e. of BluRay Ripper ?
How is this or this option to handle ?
What is the advantage of this option in comparison to this option ?

Why does the FAB not really support ATI graphic adapters like it do with Nvidia ?

              Thanks again,
              Grrreets,
              Tiger.Wutz

The settings in BD Ripper should be chosen to match the capabilities or requirements of your intended use or playback device.
