Love DVD Ripper, but for some reason I am unable to create a generic MP4 which will work on both the Xbox and the PS3. However, when I use Handbrake I have no problem. Has anyone been able to do this with DVD Ripper and if so can you provide me with some assistance? Thanks.

The video settings are not even similar, could be any of the many differences: codec level, ref frames, frame rate, frame rate type (fixed vs. variable), frame dimensions, video bit rate etc. etc. One of our PS3 or Xbox experts may be able to tell you, sorry I can't. I have re-titled your thread to remove the unnecessary reference to other software. I interpret your actual question as how to make a file with DVDFab that will play well on both the Xbox and PS3. A conversion for these two platforms will likely have some tradeoffs if you want a file that plays on both.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................
