I've been trying a show called Justified my brother asked me to put on his portable player. Im doing it as a divx avi audiocopy but when i load vlc to test it the DD 5.1 sound has a small amount of cracking over the speech, none of the other tv shows i've tried do this. All software encoding with v. 8.1.3.8.

ok thx, i'll take a look. Its an Archos 5 IT. It doesn't matter to much i suppose about DD 5.1 but i like to keep the audio as is normaly.Comment

The audio passthrough will convert faster, but the MP4 may be more playable and will probably be smaller in size.
