    BD Ripper (3D Plus) The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest

    I've tried to convert The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest to M2TS Audiocopy High Quality but at the very beginning it has a multi colored bar for 5 seconds and has audio sync problems from here on in. Heres the log i found from my last try, hope this helps.

      I've added a picture of the very start of the file. the audio starts straight away and is immediately out of sync. I've added both Swedish DTS HDMA and English DTS HDMA, i've done the first two films in the same way and they are fine.

        Bump for this thread...

        I've had this exact problem since the movie was released on blu-ray...kept trying the newer builds to see if it was resolved but nothing, yet. Currently on 8.2.0.0

        Prior to converting the file, in the video preview window, the audio is in-sync. The test pattern (shown in the post above) comes on and then a production screen plays prior to the yellow-bird opening-screen (production company). When the yellow-bird screen moves, the audio begins...

        ...but after conversion (blu-ray ripper), that silence is eliminated and the audio for the yellow-bird screen starts immediately on top of the test-pattern. This occurs when encoding to MKVaudiocopy and to M2TSpassthru.

        The sub-titles after conversion are fine, but the audio begins 19.25 seconds too soon.

        I have a Home Theatre PC, so I can correct the problem using MPC-HC by setting the audio offset to +192500ms, but XBMC (my normal player) cannot delay the audio by that many seconds.

        VLC may have an audio offset setting as well...I haven't checked.

        I guess this is a workaround for the OP but only if they are not using a hardware media player.

          Please try v8.2.1.3 and post the DVDFab internal log if it does not work.
