I recently ripped The Three Musketeers and you have to select one of the other titles. The first time I ripped the title that the software checked automatically. When I did that one, there were chunks of scenes missing and a little message a few mins into the film. I selected a different title and it ripped perfectly. When you look at the list of titles on the disc using dvdfab, you will see that there are a number titles that are the length of the full film. You need to select one of them instead. You may need to try a few of them until one works for you. I got it to work on my second try. Hopefully you have the same luck.

Thanks for the info. I had already ripped it using another program and had to do a bit of hunting for the correct title there just as you did. So perhaps this is an easy fix for the DVDFab developers and they just need to update which default title is selected for this film.

I went back and checked the logs, and actually DVDFab does seem to be selecting the same playlist/title and segment maps as the other program. So it could actually be something else. I have had several issues with DVDFab being out of sync (but ripped correctly, in order). Still unknown what is causing all of the sync issues. DVDFab actually does seem to have EXCELLENT detection of protections, cleaning up fake structure protections, and selecting the correct default main titles. Where it can stumble a little bit is in the ripping engine where A/V can be out of sync. Hopefully they can investigate and find out why this one is off.

Use newest version 8186 Qt[/B], turn off the HD sound so that you can fit the miovie into a 25 GB disc without having to compress. The sound will still be great. Youll notice the newer version will pick out No. 731, which is 1:51 minutes long.

I tried to rip to M2TS using 8167, ripping from title 437 (the first one on the list with the correct movie length) ... In the resulting file, the audio and video sync were slightly off by the latter portion of the film. By that same point, the subtitles were significantly out of sync.

Where are you getting version 8186? I checked , and 8167 is the newest beta.

My latest effort using 8.1.6.8:

The movie's length is 1:50:32. The bluray has eight titles of this length:
437, 468, 631, 688, 703, 713, 731, and 851

Seven of these eight titles have two angles. The eighth title (731) has only one angle. Also, while the other seven titles have three language tracks labeled "Spanish", (731) only has two. These difference led me to speculate that (731) is the correct one.

However, trying to rip title (731) to M2TS doesn't work. No error messages, but no progress either. The "Time Elapsed" number increases, but the "Percent" completion remains at 0.00%. I manually cancelled the copy after several minutes.

Update - I'm getting the same results with titles 703 and 713.
