DVD Ripper DVDFab Crashes During DVD Rip

This one has got me stumped. DVD rip kicks off fine and then just crashes after about quarter of an hour. I've tried playing with settings, different drives etc but the same thing happens each time. DVD copy to hard drive works no problem. Help!

Open Fab Click the Green √ top right > Protection > Path Player click Always Enabled click OK restart Fab and try again.

May be temperature related. Does it do this with all titles? If yes, try disabling Lightning Recoding in Settings and/or increase airflow.

Just to be clear only DVDFab crashes and not the machine so there is no temperature issue but thanks for thinking of it.

It was originally failing with Path Player always enabled so I disabled based on a comment in another thread but it made no difference. On or off DVDFab crashes. Really frustrating.

Try ripping the movie to your HDD first and use that file to do your converting to see if that helps.

I tried that but whilst the copy to HDD worked fine the subsequent rip suffered from exactly the same problem. Strange one this.

Not yet. It's a beta which I usually stay away from and the release notes didn't indicate anything that was likely to address this but as I am out of options I may give it a go.
