BD Ripper (3D Plus) License Requirements or error?

I've recently upgraded to DVDFAB8Qt 8.1.6.8. It had been a while since I'd used the product and found that some of my licenses had expired. I have the DVDFab Platinum 3.x that never expires, and DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper. When I try to use the software I receive "work 1 Failed, Error 500.01 2 MKV".

Do I have the right licensing to create an MKV?

Open DVDFab and then click the question mark at the top, then about and you'll see a list of modules and which are currently licensed.

      DVD Copy
      DVD Ripper
      BluRay Ripper
      File Transfer
      HD Decrypter

      All licensed

Blu_Ray Copy is expired. Do I need that one as well just to Rip?

I don't use it but the web site does not mention BluRay Copy as a requirement for the ripper.

90312 is spot on as always.
You do not need Blu-Ray Copy to rip.
Blu-Ray Ripper and DVD Ripper will rip as well as convert.

I just ripped chapter 1 of Predator BD with Blu Ray Ripper, v 8170 Beta,
just as a test to make sure there isn't a bug, etc...I had no problem.

Sorry, I'm not up to speed on error:
          work 1 Failed, Error 500.01 2 MKV

Any more details about exactly what you're doing?...specific mkv profile, title...
Maybe start with a simple update to 8170 Beta..who knows?

I attached a shorter version of the log since the actual was too big to post.

              Thanks!

You do not need to post the entire log file, it contains many sessions that have nothing to do with the particular movie you are posting about. Please use Notepad to copy the log session(s) that relate to the problem and paste them either into a new text file that you can attach or into a post. The new log sessions are apppended to the end of the file, so the most recent sesions will be at the bottom in Notepad.

                    This:
0m 33.43s: failed to send host certificate: sensekey 05 asc 6F acsq 00
usually means that DVDFab is having trouble communicating with your drive, especially if it happens with titles that are known to work OK for others. This can be caused by other software interfering as well. Does it work normally for other titles? Network connection OK?
