BD Ripper (3D Plus) Blu-ray mkv-remux failures

The more recent versions of Fab have continually had issues converting Blu-ray to MKV using the remux profile - even the most recent version 8.1.8.8. The progress bar immediately begins to drop to zero (it never finishes). Here are 4 recent examples of Blu-rays which failed to be converted to MKV using the mkv.remux profile (THE_GREY, TTSS, WOMAN_IN_BLACK, CONTRABAND). My work around up to this point was to use 8.0.8.5 (the last non-Qt version) - the problem is it can't decrypt some newer discs making me have to rely on a competitor's product to produce decrypted ISOs that are compatible with it - not to mention 8.0.8.5 can't be used as a crutch for ever.
