BD Ripper (3D Plus) 504 Error when Remux Subpicture into File

I am able to rip Blu-Rays to an MKV file without problem, except when I try to Remux into File the Subpicture, in which case I get a 504 Error. I have tried this on about a half dozen Blu-Rays (several of the Star Wars Blu Rays, Bridge over the River Kwai, and World at War).

In each case I have only one Subpicture selected (an English language subpicture), I check "Display only forced subpicture" (I am trying to capture just the English subtitles for non-English conversation), and then I click on "Edit" next to the mkv remux profile, and in Conversion Settings I change the Subpicture drop down box to "Remux into file" and click "OK" to the Conversion Settings Dialog. When I then click Start, I get a Process Failed Message, including the following: "Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 0 error: filter name(509.01), type(128), id(14), get module_error(509.00 0 94214)"

The following are the 3 logs. Note that I read on the forum that sometimes a 504 error can be addressed by turning off the GPU codecs for decoding and encoding, so I tried this but it did not help. I.e., under Common Settings, "General", "A/V Codec", I clicked "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding, and the Video Coder and Video Encoder all show "Software". The following logs were generated after doing this.

    Hi GJPBoston
Other members are experiencing the same error, the developer will have to check this.

      Hi:
This is a UI issue, since MKV.remux is not support remux subpicture into file, but it looks will. So far, only m2ts and vob passthough support subpicture remux. I'm sorry, we will fix this issue soon.

      Thanks,
      Potti

Thank you. When you say this will be fixed soon, do you mean you will enable remux with MKV files soon, or that you will change the UI so that remux of subtitles cannot be selected with MKV files?

Any suggestions for a work around to get the subtitles into the MKV file? For more popular movies I have found English language subtitles for forced subpicture only on the website subscene.com and then used MKVMerge to merge the MKV file created by DVDFab with the srt subtitle file from subscene.com. But subscene.com does not have forced subpicture subtitles for less popular blu-rays, and MKVMerge does not recognize the .sub subtitle file generated by DVDFab. Is there a program that can take the subtitle files generated by DVDFab and remux them into the MKV file generated by DVDFab?

I think my friend Potti means that the UI should not permit you to do something that is not supported, but that they are working on both issues.
