BD Ripper (3D Plus) difficulties ripping poltergeist (blu-ray)

I have recently started ripping my collection of blu-rays for streaming on my home network. i am still learning the particulars of all the settings but generally having good success so far, except for this one title -- Poltergeist (the digibook packaging version).

I do not get any errors and in fact it says it was successfully ripped every time. I've tried different methods, rip to MKV is my preferred but i have also tried convert to mp4, various android presets and even copy main movie.

Every attempt says its succesful. However, when i go to view to completed rip... it plays...but the video is studdered (audio is fine). its like its dropping frames? the video doesn't playback smoothly.

the preview window before ripping plays just fine... and the rip goes as all is normal.... just studders.

This is only title that I've encoutered this issue. I've done other movies after attempting to rip Poltergeist and and all were fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

Please play the file back locally using VLC or DVDFab Media Player and report the results.

Does your network use powerline ethernet modules?

If you can find the DVDFab internal log session from the conversion, please post it.

i do not have VLC player or DVDfab player on my computer, i do have Totalmedia theatre player 5, which seems to be able to handle MKV files just fine, or at least all the other ones I've made.

oh, i forgot to add this is playing the MKV file on my local computer, the same one that i used to rip the file. i do have a network harddrive that i eventually put all my movies onto, but this was playing directly from computer locally.

also, the home network is wired through gigabit router. there is WIFI as well but i do not use it for movie transferes/playing via WIFI, only via the wired lines.
