BD Ripper (3D Plus) Any of you using DVDfab to rip for use with Microsoft Surface?

    Hi ...

I've recently purchased a new Microsoft Surface and would like to rip a few Blurays in order to play back on the Surface when traveling ...

Any of you use this program for that purpose? If so, how well does it work? I'm assuming you need to rip into an MP4 file?

Any tips and/or tricks to make the ripping process a smooth one?

    thanks,
    Tim

I would go with MKV. If file size is not an issue m2ts high quality would be a good choice.

I can't find the video file specs for it anywhere on their website. It may be a stretch to assume it plays MP4s.

        I found this:

If you want to play any 720p HD or even full HD 1080p videos (AVI, WMV, SWF, 3GP, 3G2, MP4, AVI, MPG, VOB, FLV, MTS, M2TS, MKV, MOV, RMVB, RM, TS, TP, etc.) on Microsoft Surface Tablet
