    DVD Ripper maintain aspect ratio

Maybe a simple question or something I overlook. In most other rippers I can set 1280x720 or 1920x1080 (both 16:9 aspect ratio) AND confirm that the original aspect ratio of the movie is MAINTAINED. So even if the movie does not have 16:9 the software automatically choses the right one (maybe something like 1280x844).

How does DVDFab (v9) handle this issue?
Hope to get some answers. The way it is now I always have to do some maths adding more, if I want a movie to rip in HD.

It works exactly as you would expect for most of the profiles. Some profiles for specific devices that have odd screen sizes have fixed output frame sizes. Usually, DVDFab will provide you with a list of frame sizes that are selected to provide the same aspect ratio of the original content. You can add new frame sizes from within the GUI and modify the output size with the Profile Editor which is supplied. The aspect ratio of the encoded video is always maintained unless you change a setting. You can check the output by clicking the Edit button; the screen you see is exactly the way the video will be encoded.
