AVI to M4V Choppy

Using DVDFab 6.0.6.0 I converted some .avi files to .m4v to play on my ITouch. Just picked my device to convert to and kept all default settings. The .m4v video is choppy and the audio isn't quite keeping up - characters' mouths move before I hear them speak. The original .avi files play just fine on my laptop.

What settings should I tweak to improve this? When I converted a DVD to play on my ITouch the video came out just fine. Thanks

Please update to v6.0.7.0 and try again and post the results, good or bad. Sorry you are having trouble. Please also tell us the exact profile used in the failed conversion and whether the files are also bad if played on your PC.
