DVD Ripper Deinterlacing Issue

When I rip with DVDFAB I keep getting real bad interlacing issues. End result is bad looking video and unhappy purchase. Here is a log of recent attempt.

Do not repro here.I check it in both VLC and iPad. What's the player are you using?

What do you mean do no Repro? I am using itunes/appletv/ipad and just get ugly video when ripping with this product.

Please be more precise with your definition of "ugly video". Can you post a screenshot to show what you mean?

This should NOT be a deinterlacing issue as most movie titles, and specifically this one, are not interlaced.

Notice the walkway along the path against the water, also get pixelization at times from the output on this ripper.

What profile are you using.

I just checked my Jack Reacher here and I don't get that. I am using MKV.H264.audiocopy.

The OP is using iPad.mp4 and not the h264 codec. Not the best choice but if that's what you want to use take the bit rate up to 2000 or more to smooth out the edges.

No repro means the problem can't be reproduced. i.e. it is probably a local setting or problem.

Do you have a profile suggestion for ripping for Ipad/apple tv?

You can give a try "Apple TV" or "Apple TV3" profiles.
