BD Ripper (3D Plus) Crash boom bang

Is it just me or are others finding this software totally without substance. I waded in with a lifetime full deal some 18 months ago and I am a bit of an enthusiast and prepared to put up with a bit of beta software. But hell I don't use it much other when I buy a new disc and want to add it to my library for play through a media player. Is it too much to expect that this software can reliably rip both 3D and 2D blu rays to MKV with audio pass through.

I have rolled back from the latest version 9 to 8.1.78 to get the simple task of ripping one lousy BD happening and its one that's been around for a while. There has got to be a better solution than this crap.

You might want to provide some specific examples and log files if you want people to help, rather than just wanting to vent. I've personally ripped over 300 BD movies to MKV in the last year and haven't seen the sort of problems you are referring to.

This forum is for help and support, not rants. If you want help, always post a relevant log file. As noted by Nik, what you report is not a universal problem.

And you don't have to roll back from V9 to V8 either.

You can have both installed with no problems as most of us old hands do.

I feel your pain and frustration however. Yes it is the case this forum is about help and support. But if you can't be honest about the disappointing expectations here then where?

The standard response, "We're working on it..." has worn thin for V9.

Hopefully your issue will be addressed.

I keep imagining how great V8 would be if all the V9 effort and resources had been focused on V8.

Yes I know, helpful and support, helpful and support.....

              Thanks JSMiddleton4
You have really have felt my pain and I agree wholeheartedly with your comments. I have pretty much written it off as a bad investment and am waiting for other software to release their BD ripper. They may be slow but I have always found their software solid and expect a good product from them. Cheers

Mate, follow the rules. This is about support, not opinions.
