BD Ripper (3D Plus) can't remove embedded subtitles

    Hello all,

I'm using DvDFab 9 to create movie files from my blu-rays to put on my ipad. I'm using the iPad3 profile and selecting a personnalize output size for the file to keep it under 1GB. I don't select a subtitle in the movie (no one is checked), but the resulting file has embedded subtitles nonetheless... any idea how to fix this ?? Will try DvdFab8 in the mean time.

    Thanks !

You will probably see the same result if your settings are the same, v8 and v9 Ripper modules deal with subs the same way. There is no way to remove them once they are there. To avoid encoding them in the future, make sure all the sub streams are unchecked before you click Start.

Hello, all the sub streams were unchecked with DvdFab 9 but there was subtitles in the resulted file nonetheless. I tried with DvdFab 8 and it was ok (no sub selected, no sub in the file). It seems to be a problem in the DvdFab 9 interface. Thanks.

I don't think a problem with DVDFab, I just tried it unticked all these subs and none were in the file:
