    BD Ripper (3D Plus) DVDfab Bluray Ripper Ver 9 freezes every time...

    OK I just tried to rip another bluray with ver 9 and predictably the software freezes and doesn't work. This time it just sticks in the play preview mode (though I'm shocked it made it that far) it usually just freezes as soon as I hit a button. There are no error messages or logs, this may be the worst piece of software I've ever purchased.

      Still no good, the program just bricks every time. a generalized windows error message pops up saying the software has stopped working, windows is looking for a solution and then it shuts down Here's the log associated with this most recent try...

        Looks like it's still trying to use that Radeon graphics card to me. I have one too and believe me it's useless.

          Sometimes files get corrupted try taking Fab off the computer when it asks you if you want to save settings click yes then take cc cleaner a free program you can get on the net to clean junk files and clean registry do both with this program then re download Fab from the front page there's a new version 9071 run it and try again.Your going to have to restart your computer when it asks you to do so then go into Fab settings and make sure their set as you normally set them and try again.

            With respect a Radeon card should have nothing to do with it, every other piece of paid software on the planet works just fine. I run Photoshop, Painter, etc with no problems. DVDfab is the only problem piece of software on my computer. Glenns I've used Ccleaner for years, I've done the uninstall, clean re-install ad nauseam for months and the result is always the same, DVDfab ver 9 freezes every time. Strangely if I revert back to ver 8 it works, does this give you any insight into a fix for the problem?

                perhaps your new to the biz world so I'll offer some free advice. When paying customers express frustration because your product doesn't work the way its meant to you should spend your time coming up with solutions not making smug comments. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and wait for your suggestions regarding a fix before I take to FB, G+, Twitter, etc.

                  Could you try the new 9071 version and send us a log if that doesn't work.
                  Strange as it seems to be a windows problem and version 8 works.is your graphics card using the latest firmware and windows updates?

                    I'm not in the business world at all. I'm a user like yourself. I have nothing to do with development or the business. There is a support ticket area on the web site for direct communication with developers. If you want to use the Radeon card go right ahead and I wish you well. Now give it a rest or a support ticket will be your only option!
