DVD Ripper Jack Ryan - Subtitles

Using DVD Ripper. I have tried numerous different options to get English forced subtitles to work on this movie. It use to work fine on version 8. I am using the latest version 9.1.5.2. I look at 19:40 minutes to see if worked. I posted a pic of my latest attempt. I also used force only. How do you do it?

I finally found a combination that produces a forced subtitles track. I can select the subtitles track in VLC. However I want the subtitles embedded in the mp4 file. This capability existed in v8. I don't see an option to do it v9. Am I missing something.

I think you should not have selected "Normal and Forced", Forced Only and Direct Render to Video should reproduce the theatrical viewing experience. I have the DVD+BD Combo pack of this title but have not tried the DVD yet.

Use the second English stream (see attached capture). It contains only the translations, so you do not even need to select Display Only Forced, although they are forced subs, so it would work if you did.
