DVD Ripper Process failed on all rips

Hi, I'm encountering error "Failed process" within seconds of trying to rip an iso. Tried multiple iso's and having same problem.. using 9.1.6.8.

here is what my logs say. I see that the last line says something about another process running.. but I've dont have anything running in background or when i open up task manager.

Thoughts?

Rip process partly successful

I'm running Virtu MVP with an Intel i5-3570K CPU, Nvidia Gainward GTX750Ti and 16Gb of system RAM.
Using the Intel VGA output to drive my monitor, Intel Quick Sync is enabled in the A/V codec settings.

If I try to select GPU encoding, the process fails

Looked at codec options and it would only let me select software or turn it off. Tried turning off and got same error. Selecting anything else would just say my graphics card does not support it. I'm running an Asus laptop I7 with 12gb mem and 3gb geforce 560m.

Cant select any type of encoding other than software either way, so not sure how that applies to me. I did switch it back to 1 pass which is where i had the original error and have verified that the error still occurs.

I reverted back to 9.1.4.6 and it seems to be working. Not sure whats changed in the new version than the previous

Same here. Current version was failing as well as 9.1.5.9 when I reverted. 9.1.4.6 worked fine.

The QA Team will have to check this, I can't duplicate the problem with v9.1.6.8, it works fine with ISO, original disc or folder Source for me, 1-pass.

test over privious installs

Maybe have them test over previous installs. I noticed that the new version didnt recognize the current install and tried to put it in a different directory. I even had to re-register the product after install.

Just to verify no problem with 9.1.6.8US and Wreck it Ralph iso one pass. I don't do over the top installs so I can't speak to that.

I'm running Virtu MVP with an Intel i5-3570K CPU, Nvidia Gainward GTX750Ti and 16Gb of system RAM.
Using the Intel VGA output to drive my monitor, Intel Quick Sync is enabled in the A/V codec settings.

@chris_caudy, you are running the the tool Virtu MVP on your PC. Actually, IQS GPU and CUDA GPU could be both work without the tool, just connect Intel card and 750 card to the same monitor together. For more info, please visit this thread. http://forum.dvdfab.cn/showthread.php?t=24298

And we need to add "DVDFab.exe", "FabCheck.exe", "FabCore.exe" and "FabProcess.exe" to the MVP application list together if using the MVP tool.

Please try these ways and tell us the result.

From the log file, seems like that the FabProcess.exe process does not exit normally and still running in system. Please check it in Windows Task Manager, please kill it if exist in Task manager before staring the converting work.
FabProcess.exe will be used when converting from an ISO file.
Maybe you can try the disc source or mount the ISO file to Virtual Drive.http://www.dvdfab.cn/virtual_drive.htm

And would you please do a clean uninstall and re-install and try again?

I show no other display adapters other than the Geforce card.

As far as the processes, I've checked and no other processes show up for DVDFab.

I'll have to do the uninstall and re-install this weekend.
