Does anyone know why some .vob files will convert and some won't. I have .vob files that were created by the same program, some will convert to iPod format and some won't. Any ideas?

Give us more to go on. How do they not convert? No ouput? Unplayable output? Just wrong somehow? Crash/freeze?Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts

One reason is if the VOB file is named like the DVD (i.e. VTS_01_1.VOB) then File to Mobile will reject it. I think this is because too many people get confused and try to use File to Mobile instead of DVD to Mobile. If that is not the problem then you might try filling out this from the sticky thread at the top of the forum:

more info on vob file conversion problem
I have renamed all of the vob files and follow the same naming convention for all files, I am converting episodes of Seinfeld for iPod...the file name is something like "Seinfeld 0101 Episode Name". This naming convention worked for Frasier, now about half of the files give the error: "Failed to open <path to .vob file>. The file is unsupported."
