BD Ripper (3D Plus) Blu-Ray drive blocked?

I am working on getting more specifics but something weird started happening about a week ago and was wondering if it was my drive or if any others are having problems. It is not just one specific issue its a couple of different things. I am in the process of converting my blu-ray collection to MKV so that I can store on a media server. Everything was working great for about a month or so (30 movies) and then all of a sudden I seem to be having issues. Here are a few of the issues, maybe someone can tell me if this is normal or just a problem. Using the latest version of ripper and passkey.

    1. At one instance I received an error stating that there was an AACS? error and some other stuff. When I looked up the errror online it stated that it meant that my blu-ray drive (Buffalo Tech Media Station EX 16X) had been blocked? Or that the AACS key had been blocked? Does this make any sense?

    2. As soon as I try to rip a Blu-Ray I get an error saying that the program cannot find a file and I can either ignore it, ignore all, or abort. I know its hard to know without the exact error, I will keep trying until I get it again and post back.

    3. While trying to open a Blu-ray to rip it tells me that the disc is not playable to check disc and try again. These discs have no scratches and play fine on the stand-alone Blu-Ray player and on the Buffalo player using the DVDFab Media Player software.

Any thoughts on what might have happened? I read somewhere that there are blu-ray that contain some sort of file that will do this to your player if you try to back them up using programs like dvdfab? Is this possible? Could this have happened? Do I need a new blu-ray drive? I tried both ripping and just make a duplicate of the disc and get the same kind of errors. Thanks for any help, really appreciate it. Kind of stuck.

Thank you October I am using DVDFab Passkey and it seems to have removed the protection from the blu-ray so I don't think this is it but I might be wrong. I have a couple of Blu-Rays that were already converted and backed up, I tried the same thing with one of those and got the same problems. I thought once a blu-ray was backed up the aacs was removed from it?

What DVDFab is telling you is that one of the files can't be read. If this happens on only one disc, the disc is probably damaged. If it happens on every disc, there may be something wrong with the drive. You need to post a DVDFab internal log and the Passkey internal log to help determine the problem. Instructions for posting the logs are linked in my sig.
