DVD Ripper DVDs fail to rip

    Hi,
I did a quick search, and did not see any related threads. If I am duping a problem that has been solved, a link would be appreciated.

Some of my DVDs will not rip. I have had several.
Aileen: Life and death of A serial Killer is one example. The error seems to be the same on them all, and most of of the ones that fail are older DVDs.

    18:57:09
Conversion: two pass - first pass
    18:57:09
    Work 1 failed, Error = graph not_suitable_connected_filter graph(0) - pinName:video frame

I have disabled all hardware Video decoder settings and set everything to Software. Turning them back on again doesn't help. I cannot remember the names of all the failed titles, But there are several of my DVDs, that will not back up (Rip to MP4) at all. Most of my DVDs did rip and have been backed up so I don't think it's my settings.

    HP Envy 700 series
    Windows 10, 64 bit
    Intel i7-4770 CPU @ 3.4 GHz
    12 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 Graphic card
HP BDDVDRW CH30L SCSI CD ROM

Checked drivers, and they are up to date.

I have a lifetime subscription and overall, I really like DVDFAB. The failures however are frustrating.

    Any ideas?

    thnx

      Hi cbleman,

First, in the future please post (or better, attach) the complete unedited log session for the problem you are illustrating. It begins with the version and time stamp.

For this issue, please use the Advanced Settings page to set the output frame size to 632x480 to see the result. Post the new log session if you still have difficulties. Good luck with it.

Sorry it took so long to get back. Your suggestion worked like a champ!! Thanks. The default was 631 X 480. Should I make 632 a default?

Just make sure your height and width are divisible by 2 whatever frame size you select.
