DVD Ripper Ripping feature no longer loads source DVDs

I've noticed over the past few weeks that the ripping (DVD) feature no longer seems to load a source. The copy feature and .ISO output works fine, but when I attempt to rip any DVD (even ones that previously have worked) it spins up the drive, starts to read then just stops. I appear to be on the latest update for my version.

Here is the most recent logfile. I swapped modes at the end to see if I could trigger an error.

The update patch on 12/24 appears to have resolved this issue. Three test rips have all worked fine now, on DVDs that previous had stopped ripping.
