BD Ripper (3D Plus) Will new 4k Pioneer 211UBK work with NORMAL blu ray disks?

Need a new Blu Ray drive. Don't need 4k, but thinking that Pioneer's new drive might be more reliable in reading difficult disks. Will it work with DVD fab ripper?
(I know that it won't currently work with 4k)

It should work well, I had good luck with Pioneer drives in the past. The read speed specs for it look good for regular Blu-ray. You can get one of the LG drives for a little less. There should be no issues using it with DVDFab for regular DVD/BD content.
