dvd rips being given current year in file info

Evening, so I did something where all my mp4 rips are being given the current year in the file info.

Example, I just ripped "big trouble in little china" and it assigned it the year 2020 in the file details, the film is from 1986 which is what I named the file. Which is messing up my plex server. Any clue on what I did?

Will have to try to duplicate this. You are entering the correct year on the Meta page?

Normally, I would just title the file say "Big Trouble in LIttle China (1986).mp4"

Then Plex would find the movie data. Now for some reason its selecting 2020 as the year under media/contributing artists.

I understand what you are seeing, just can’t account for it! I will try to reproduce the problem when time permits. Sorry for the difficulty.

Thanks for the help. I uninstalled DVD fab, deleted my cloud backups. Still puts 2020 in the contributing artist. Really weird issue.

Hi,

It's the bug of DVDFab, because of that DVDFab write the incorrect metadata "the movie released date is 2020, not the correct released date 1986" when converting to MP4.

It's fixed in the new version 11069, please wait it to release, thanks!
