DVD Ripper No Sound on some episodes.

I have the complete 11 seasons of M*A*S*H on DVD. I have ripped the episodes for my home media Plex Server, and mostly they are working fine, with the exception of 4 episodes. These episodes have no sound when ripped. The sound is there when I play the preview prior to ripping, and its there if I copy the disk, but when I rip them they are missing. Any thoughts as to what the issue could be?

This problem has existed for several years, I just tried again with the latest update, and it still is not grabbing the sound.

Did you try playback the output file using software players on your PC? Do you have sound?

Please use Mediainfo tool to analyze one of the output file that you have the sound issue, and post the result here.

I have tried it using several players, and also within Plex Media Server. As I said, most of the episodes are working fine.

After you load the movie to Ripper, under Audio tab, do you see any audio tracks for selecting? Please use Copy-Clone mode to create an iso file from the original movie disc, check if you can get any audio while playback the iso. We may need this iso to help check out the issue if we could not find a same one, thanks in advance.

Yes, i've selected English Normal, on the Audio track selection. And when I clone the disk to ISO, I can play the episode with sound in VLC Media Player, no problem. The disk is M*A*S*H season 3, Disk 1, Episode 5, The O.R. If you need the ISO, how do I get it to you?

try clicking common settings - DVD - pathplayer - disable pathplayer - restart dvdfab
and retry the disc again to see if you still get the no audio on some episodes.

button in the lower left corner of the general settings area, restart dvdfab and see
if there's any change in getting the sound from the discs

try doing a clean uninstall of dvdfab and reinstall.
then retry your disc again and see if that works.
