99%, fails but resulting MKV is completed

I'm not new to DVDFab. Used it extensively in the past. Didn't need it for awhile. Do now, so I'm back.

I have a new AMD 4800U with Radeon 8 graphics, 16gb ram, Windows 10 which is up to date.

I'm having the same symptoms others are complaining about and that is when making an MKV gets to 99%, stays there a LONG time, then says it failed. The MKV seems to be made correctly however.

I tried with the initial release of DVDFab 12, 12.0.1. 99% thing on several different blurays.
I tried with last release of DVDFab 11. Same 99% fail, etc.
I tried with the last release which was a beta of DVDFab 10. Same 99% failed, etc.
I tried with the last release of DVDFab 9. WORKED.
I tried with the last release of DVDFab 8. WORKED.

I updated just now to DVDFab 12.0.2. SAME result. Riddick, Monster Hunters and the Godzilla from March 23, 2021, (starring: Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins as in how many Godzilla movies are available?) all hit 99%, takes a long time, says failed BUT the MKV seems fine.

I've tried all the suggestions, software codecs on/off. Lightening settings On/Off.

    Obviously no change.

I know the routine of uploaded the log in the temp directory. But this is not an individual disk. This seems global. DVDFab doesn't seem to know its done. Whatever it is that says "Hey, you did your job, good work, now take a break" isn't being said to DVDFab OR it is and DVDFab isn't listening.

I'm not going to keep testing various blurays. Given the log for this morning's update stalling then failing seems to be already known as 12.0.2 was supposed to address it. Couldn't address it if not already known.

Supply the log if you want to aid in a solution. Otherwise, no more posts on this topic.

      Good morning Signals.

Did already to tech support. Did for at least two of the blurays, Monster Hunter and Riddick. If I have time inbetween Saturday chores will rip the new Godzilla and get that sent to tech support. Sorry if by not posting the logs here is breaks some kind of rule about posting more on the subject. I'm not going to repost what is already in the hands of tech support though and if I post Godzilla here, that'd be kinda confusing for tech support.

Maybe others with other disks that do this same thing can post there logs here?

The logs of others are not relevant, since they have different PCs with different capabilities and environments. If you choose not to post them here it’s your choice but will in some cases delay a response and leads to a situation where the developers can’t find all the information they need in one spot. If you use the Feedback link from within DVDFab, all you need do is post the Feedback ID number that is assigned along with the problem description.
