BD Ripper (3D Plus) Avatar Forced Subtitles are still not working on 7.0.6.5 for iPad

    Hi....

Even with new 7.0.6.5 Avatar forced subtitles are not showing up on iPad.

Settings I used were the .mp4 settings to make sure nothing strange was stored on Default. Crop disabled to be 1024x576. Two titles come up on US BD disk. I tried both and same result.

Selected English Subtitle and then selected Forced only.

Both times, nothing. I even played the video in preview window for all subtitles to see working then selected forced only and still nothing.

also having issues on Hunt for Red October where forced subtitles are staying on forever until it sees another forced subtitle.

I would add 7.0.6.5 continues to produce the same sticky forced subtitles I noted in an earlier thread with respect the Blue Ray version of "A Bridge too Far."

Admin note: Please post in that thread, not this one. The problems are different. This thread concerns Avatar.

I am experiencing the same thing with Avatar. The normal subs will direct render, the forced ones do not show. When display only forced is checked, the normal subs (correctly) do not show, but the forced ones don't either.

7066 did not work for me either, I have not had time to try 7067 yet. I am using the MP4 (h264+AAC) profile.

does not work with 7067 either. I got it to work with an .mkv container, have not tried IPAD. I had to use another program to to convert to an IDX file (choosing only the "force subs. Then muxe it with another program. Last time I mentioned another program name I was told to read rules. PM me if you want more info.

Avatar's subtitle is special, we are working on it now, and it should be supported in near feature.

maybe we picked the wrong mpls? on the german avatar bd there are two mpls for the movie, 852 and 802. i copied 852 with "main movie" profile and got 6 languages and 17 subtitles, but the only subtitle containing only the navi language is number 17 which is in france...not german. if i choose any other subtitle, i have the subtitle for the whole movie...
maybe the navi only sub in german is in the mpls 802 ?!
