    DVD fab hanging at 0.82%

    I am trying to convert a .mp4 to an avi or wmv file using DVD fab version 7.0.8.0 File to Mobile option.

    It starts to convert and then hangs at 0.82%.



    The .mp4 is homemade using a mini flip camera so no copyright issues. Am running windows XP with latest SP.

    Is there a known reason/solution to the problem of it hanging?

    Moving your thread to the correct forum. Does the original file play OK on your PC? Did you copy it to your hard drive from the flip before the conversion? If not, try that.

      Please try using 1-pass instead of 2-pass

      Please post your logs the default location is:
      For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
      For Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
      For XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
      Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal log and post right here.

        Check your process list and see if Fabcore.exe is still running. If not, your issue is similar to mine.
