DVD Ripper 8.0 Ripper Converting Forever

I have a problem that I hope someone can help.

I am using DVD Ripper 8.0 and for the most part, it is an awesome program. I am no longer having audio sync issues, but for about 10% of the movies I am converting to AVI (xviD audio copy single pass), it will get to 100 % and keep on going. Tried Divx, h264, did the same thing.

I had one convert for 8 hours while I was at work and when I got home, it was still converting. File size was 55 GB and the file would not play.

I have converted 250 movies and this happened to about 50 movies. I had to cancel the conversions and delete the huge unplayable output files.

The other 200 were perfect.

I was converting directly from the hard drive, not disc. Previously ripped them all to the hard drive.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Not sure which log file you are looking for. DVD Fab has 2 log files maintained in the default directory "My Documents"

I'll post both logs if that may help.

As a side note, some of the movies that continued to convert well past 100% and were manually canceled by me were actually playable. A few of the movies were upwards of 3 or 4 hours long.

Some movies would just restart from the beginning after the end. By this I mean that DVD Fab converted the movie, say 1.5 hours long, and then would start from the beginning again and convert it again using the same output file. This would continue endlessly until I canceled it. As stated in the earlier post, I've had one file grow to 55GB.

A few other movies that were converted would just keep repeating the credits at the end. A 55GB output file with an 1.5 hour movie and 8 hours of repeating credits.

I tried using 8.0.1.5 which I believe is the latest beta version.

It did the same thing, got to 100% and kept going until I canceled it. It originally picks up the movie at the right length when I import the files to DVD Fab, (Main movie 1 hour 45 minutes) but converts endlessly.

Just had another movie converting while I was at work. Got home and it was still converting...it said 100% with 0 time remaining but was still processing...12 plus hours with a 44GB file output.

DVD Fab seems to see the correct length at the start, will say 29 minutes remaining, count down to 0 minutes remaining, but still keep converting.
