Media Player unusable

I can get it to play .mov files, that's about it.
I have the free promotion Pro lifetime player, updated to 2500 package, under file menu- open disk, it sees the DVD title but when selected it just spins and spins the spinning wheel in the window. Same with m4v and many .mov files.

Can anyone suggest a fix please?

Osx 10.9.5

Media Player is updated to latest build 2.5.0

Is there someplace that I can send the logs to that can help? Is there a support portal?

You can attach the logs to a post in your thread, using the tips that are linked in my sig, below. Sorry you are having trouble with it. Problems such as you describe are very unusual.
